IFI Foundation Partners with U. N. (Autonomous) College of Science & Technology to Strengthen Education and Community Engagement

A new MoU formalises the collaboration, focusing on research, skill development, and youth-led initiatives.
IFI Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with U. N. (Autonomous) College of Science & Technology, Adaspur, Cuttack, Odisha. The partnership builds on a shared focus on academic excellence and student development.
Strengthening the link between learning and practice
This collaboration reflects IFI Foundation's ongoing work to connect classroom learning with real-world challenges. The MoU focuses on education, research, skill development, and community-led initiatives. The aim is to help students apply what they learn and engage with issues that matter to their communities.
Under this partnership, IFI Foundation will serve as the Knowledge Partner, supporting research, communication, and development programmes. U. N. (Autonomous) College of Science & Technology will lead student engagement and academic integration, ensuring that activities are relevant and well-implemented. Together, both institutions aim to build an environment that encourages critical thinking and social responsibility.
MoU signing and participation
The MoU was signed by Pranati Parida, Co-Chair, IFI Foundation, and Dr Lulumina Dash, Principal, U. N. (Autonomous) College of Science & Technology, in the presence of faculty members and representatives from both institutions.
Key participants included Dr Hiranmayee Mishra, Administrative Bursar, and Sujata Mishra, IQAC Coordinator, along with Nilambar Rath, Co-Chair, IFI Foundation, and Priyanka Sucharita, Manager – Communications, IFI Foundation. The meeting also included discussions on how to design and implement joint programmes.

Focus areas for collaboration
The partnership will focus on key areas such as public health, environmental sustainability, research, and youth engagement. It aims to create opportunities for students to participate in field-based learning, research activities, and community programmes.

Building a wider academic network
This MoU adds to IFI Foundation's growing network of academic partnerships. The organisation has also signed MoUs with Rama Devi Women's University and Berhampur University, expanding its work across Odisha.
Through these collaborations, IFI Foundation continues to create opportunities for students to learn, engage, and contribute to development work across Odisha.
