IFI Foundation and Rama Devi Women’s University (RDWU) Sign MoU to Promote Women’s Education and Research

IFI Foundation has signed an MoU with Rama Devi Women’s University (RDWU), Bhubaneswar, the oldest institution of the state, under the Department of Higher Education, Government of Odisha, promoting women’s education in the region. Under the MoU, as the ‘Knowledge Partner’ IFI Foundation is committed to extend support to the University (‘Academic Partner’) fostering academic excellence & research, skill development, internship & industry exposure, while empowering youth with social impact initiatives including Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The agreement was signed by Smt Shyamali Mohapatra, Registrar, RDWU, and Smt Pranati Parida, Co-Chair, IFI Foundation, in the presence of Prof. Chandi Charan Rath, VC (I/C), RDWU, along with representatives from both institutions.

Leaders from both institutions highlighted the importance of empowering young women through education, emphasizing that this partnership will help students gain essential skills and prepare them for future challenges.

The initiative is expected to drive long-term social transformation through meaningful academic engagement.

Rama Devi Women’s University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, named after the great freedom fighter and women icon Maa Rama Devi, has been established by an Act No.5 of 1989 of State Legislature of Odisha as a State University vide Notification No.-HE-FE-I-B-MISC-9/2015/11605 dated 30.05.2015 and is empowered to award degrees as specified by the UGC under Section 22 of the UGC act 1956 through its own departments, its constituent Colleges and/or through its affiliated Colleges in regular mode with the approval of concerned statutory bodies/councils, wherever required.
